BlackBerry Storm 2: Extreme Photo Collection
By: Daniel Chubb | October 16, 2009 | Leave a CommentHead on over to ZDNet UK to grab a look at the sleek BlackBerry Storm 2 on the Vodafone network, they have put up a gallery of 6 photos displaying the storm 2 from all its varying gorgeous angles.
The 5.65oz Storm 2 comes with a respectable 3.25” TFT LCD display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 256MB of Flash memory, 2GB eMMC, a MicroSD slot which supports up to 16GB (ideal for music and pictures), a 3.5mm audio jack so you can use your favourite set of headphones, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and a 1,400 mAh battery which will be able to support around 5 to 6 hours of talk time.
It would seem the best point of the upgrade from the Storm to the Storm 2 is the vastly improved touch screen, previously the touch screen had a central pivot which made typing on the virtual keyboard a bit fiddly, but according to ZDNet UK this has now been replaced with four electromechanical actuators which are controlled by the phones software and allow for much easier text entry and with the ability to press multiple keys at once, something that couldn’t be achieved on the original Storm.
Below is a picture of the Storm 2 and its virtual keyboard, to check out the rest of the gallery head over to ZDNet UK.
