
Nokia Suffer Q3 Loss
By: Jamie Pert | October 15, 2009 | Leave a CommentNokia have recently announced their Q3 numbers, however they are not at all impressive, over all they lost 426 million EUR ($636.57 million).
This time last year the company were reporting a profit of 1.469 billion EUR ($2.2 billion), according to a report on IntoMobile in this quarter they managed to sell 108.5 million phones, however their loss equates to losing the equivalent of $5.87 on each handset.
Out of the 108.5 million phones sold 16.4 million of these were said to be smartphones, 4.5 million of these smartphones are said to be handsets from the N series and 4.4 million of the smartphones are said to be the E series handsets.
