IPhone 3GS or upcoming Blackberry Bold 9700?

The worst kept secret from T-Mobile is the launch of the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700, also known as the Bold 2. We have been waiting for T-Mobile to officially announce the launch of the new handset, until we learned that they had quietly put the device up on the T-Mobile.de website.

The phone is not a touchscreen smartphone, but the 9700 will still have to go up against the iPhone 3GS, the latest smartphone from Apple. The new Bold device will now offer UMA and Wi-Fi calling; this is part of the HotSpot@Home service from T-Mobile.

The Apple iPhone 3G S has received a number of upgrades to its hardware and software. The new iPhone OS now allows the handset to do what the cheapest of cell phones can do, send MMS to friends. The greatest difference is in its performance.

The 3GS now has a more powerful processor, more RAM and a bigger hard drive. The design has not changed at all, which some customers were unhappy about, but this is still a great all round smartphone, even if it does lack a physical keyboard.

Both handsets are good in their own way, but both are still lacking in the looks department.

    I do not know what to say… Blackberyy is a good phone too and iphone is in top. i think tahat we all have to think at both. the have different qualities

    i am so confused! my contract is about to expire and i have an iphone. i am an apple person, with a macbook pro and all. i used to always say that i will never get anything but an iphone, but the battery life annoys me so much!
    and everyone now has an iphone, and i find it rather silly to buy another iphone (although mine is 3g not 3gs) when its in perfect condition and i can update the software.
    so very confused i am!

    my contract is set to expire tomorrow and I'm also debating between the 3Gs and the 9700.right now I'm dropping calls, the GPS isn't working correctly 100% of the time and my battery dies in less than 8 hours..I called one store to ask if they had the 9700 and told them I was thinking of switching from the Iphone 3G and was told " you want the 3Gs not the Blackberry"

    I have a iphone 3gs but it gets kinder boring sometimes but on the other hand i want a bb bold 9700 im confused if i shud sell my iphone for a blackberry im scared to just in case i want the iphone back
