AMD Congo: Launch Expected Soon

Details regarding AMD’s launch of its Congo platform have recently leaked, AMD’s Congo platform is designed for ultra-thin notebooks, which will (performance wise) sit between netbooks and high end notebooks.
According to SlashGear’s article the Congo platform is expected to arrive either late October or early November, despite originally being scheduled for a July release.
The Congo platform will consist of a variation of processors paired with AMD’s M780G chipset, it seems that HP are the manufacturer mostly interested in using the Congo platform.
There is also talk regarding two other new ultra-thin platforms, these platforms are called the Nile and Brazos platform, as we find out more regarding these platforms we will keep you updated, for more information regarding the Congo platform check out SlashGear.
