Toshiba Satellite U500 Series: Announced

Toshiba have today announced a lot of new Windows 7 devices, there is a new lightweight, highly mobile laptop series called the Satellite U500 series, not only are they extremely portable but they also feature a pretty eye-catching design.

The U500 series have a 13.3 inch high definition wide-screen display and feature Intel dual-core processors, the rest of the hardware specifications have not been confirmed yet, one thing we do know is that the starting weight for this series of laptops is just 5 pounds.

This series of laptop will be available in a wide range of colors, which include Luxe Red, White, Pink and Brown, they are also said to feature a textured finish.

The starting price for this series is said to be approximately $698.99, as we hear more details regarding full hardware specifications, and a release date we will keep you posted, for more information check out HotHardware.
