T-Mobile Sidekick: Is Your Contact Data Back?

Yesterday we posted an article regarding the ongoing T-Mobile Sidekick saga, in this post we discussed the fact that there was a chance that some users data may be recoverable, contrary to original beliefs that all of the data was permanently lost.

According to an article posted earlier today on SlashGear it seems that some T-Mobile Sidekick users are reporting that some contact data has re-appeared on their devices, at the moment this is not confirmed.

One user apparently removed the battery and put it back in and the contacts re-appeared, other users have stated that constantly turning the handset on and off brought back their contacts, this however goes against T-Mobile’s recommendations and puts any data currently on your handset at risk.

Has your contact data re-appeared on your Sidekick? If so how did you get the data back?

What is T-Mobile doing for PREPAID Sidekick owners that have lost 4 years worth of contacts, notes, etc? Thanks for a reply.
