Sony Ericsson Aino: Released, PS3 features detailed

Sony have confirmed that their first Sony Ericsson handset that is compatible with the Playstation 3 console is available to buy today. The Sony Ericsson ‘Aino’ is Sony’s latest device to make full use of the PS3′s Remote Play features.

As stated over at the EU Playstation Blog, the Sony Ericsson Aino, aside from being an 8.1 megapixel multimedia handset, allows users to turn a PS3 on and off, sign into the PS3 network and message friends, browse and control the XMB interface and connect it up with PlayTV for live TV and recording capabilities.

Impressed? We thought so. The Aino will also let you browse the Playstation Store and purchase items, just in case you’re afraid of missing out on updates away from home.
