Gran Turismo 5: The reasons for PS3 delay – Yamauchi
By: Alan Ng | October 14, 2009
Gran Turismo supremo Kazunori Yamauchi has given us an insight into why the game has been pushed back to a 2010 release. He had been speaking in a recent interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu.
As reported from VG247, Yamauchi states that the team could release the game ‘anytime they want’, but have held back to make sure GT5 exceeds gamer’s expectations.
He also revealed that the sheer scale of the title is ‘just dizzying’ and as a result, daily progress on the game remains ’slow’, but ’steady’ at the same time.
Well, what do you make of his comments? March seems like an awfully long time away. Don’t forget about those new screenshots we told you about too. More from Yamauchi through the link.

this lad Yamauchi is a genius, if he wants to take his time, let him. this title looks in a different league from anything we have witnessed before. as slam fan puts it “i can’t wait” – but i am prepared to for what will surely be this generations definitive driving experience.
