Western Digital Live TV Player: HD playback and 1080p support

Storage specialists Western Digital have just announced details for their new Live TV HD Media Player, which is now available to buy in-stores or online over in the UK.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the device features network capabilities, along with support for Full 1080p HD resolution. The device will allow you to easily playback HD videos which are stored on USB and network drives from both your PC and Mac computers.

Using the Live TV HD Media Player, you’ll also be able to stream content directly from websites onto big screen HDTVs, thanks to its built in WiFi technology.

It’s available to buy now, expect to pay around £119 for one.
