Supercar Challenge: Patch v1.1 now out

Most Gran Turismo fans have had to get their kicks elsewhere over the last few months, and especially since the announcement of GT5 now officialy being set for Japan in March 2010. Many keen petrol heads took to Supercar Challenge to make this final stretch bearable.

Supercar Challenge was pushed out into the open after a lengthy testing phase, but it seems that not all the pesky bugs were spotted during testing, with many bugs in the system and the pesky AI being the main concern, but the pro-active Supercar Challenge community got straight to work with the developers at Eutechnyx. As far as developer/community interaction, Eutechnyx really has this mastered. They actually listen to what players want, and it seems that they do actually get the job done.

Yesterday the first patch went live (v 1.1), just over a month since the launch of the game. The patch nails a whole pile of bugs, from minor things to major things. You can check out the full list at the official Supercar Challenge forum. The game is still far from perfect, but it sure is a lot of fun. If Eutechnyx keep working on it like they have been doing, then we here at Product Reviews can only see greatness. This game is a definite must have for any petrol heads stack.
