Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept: More Photos Released

We recently announced that Subaru were to show off its Hybrid Tourer Concept at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show, a new set of photos have been released showing the new concept in all its glory, we just hope that the model to go on show will be every bit as sexy as the images.

The new Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept has a gullwing design, Autoblog are unsure if the vehicle is a wagon, hatchback or something else. What we do know is, this is Subaru’s first attempt at a hybrid, so will be interesting to see what they come up with.

The car will use a boxer four-cylinder engine, which will work in conjunction with its twin electric motors. Subaru have been working closely with Toyota to produce the vehicle, what better way to get your first hybrid on the road, by getting help from the makers of the Prius.

We expect the Subaru Hybrid Tourer to enter production within the next few years. We are sure that a number of things will change with the design and specifications of this concept; we will keep you updated of any changes.
