Sonos debuts new hardware designed for an iPhone app
By: Daniel Chubb | October 13, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to John Paczkowski at AllThingsD.com, Sonos are releasing an All-In-One wireless music system specifically designed for the iPhone. The ZonePlayer S5 can be controlled by any iPhone, iPod touch or computer.
Consisting of five speakers (two tweeters, two 3” mid range drivers and one 3.5” sub woofer) and a 5 Class-D digital amp, the system which can stream music from your iPhone or iTunes library on any computer or networked HDD should make a nice addition to any room, and at only $399 it is actually quite affordable. The system is expected to go up for sale on the 27th of this month.
