HP Compaq have began to roll out a few new desktop PC’s and a new notebook, the new models are the new Compaq CQ61z notebook, the Presario 4010f desktop, and the 500B series desktop computers.
The CQ61z notebook has a black and silver design and is aimed towards the lower/cheaper end of the market, the notebook features a 15.6 inch display and a 6 cell battery, the rest of the specifications have not yet been revealed, however given that the laptop will only set you back $399 it is doubtful that the rest of the hardware will be that impressive.
The Presario 4010f is a budget desktop system, prices start at $309, exactly what you get for the money is not completely clear, however you do get an AMD Sempron processor, NVIDIA integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
There are also two desktops being released as part of Compaq’s 500B series, these are the Compaq 500B and the Compaq 505B, both machines run Windows 7 and are aimed towards business users, there are a lot of different options in terms of hardware to choose from, prices for the AMD-based 500B start at $359, whereas the Intel-based 505B starts at $409.

This is a pretty good laptop. So far I have no problems with it, and I even tried a few 3D games on it and it can handle them for the most part.
