JVC PICSIO GC-FM1: New HD Video Camera

JVC have recently unveiled a new camcorder called the PICSIO GC-FM1, the camcorder is said to be a simple camera which is capable of recording HD video along with being capable of taking still shots.

To ensure clear video and still shots the camera is equipped with image stabilization and a 4x digital zoom, the camera has a small cellphone-like design and is available in a few different colors. The camera accepts SD and SDHC memory cards.

The camera features an 8 megapixel camera which is capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps, however if you drop the quality down to 720p you can record at 60fps, it also features a 2 inch color LCD screen and allows you to send videos to iTunes and YouTube easily.

    The back–the side with the 2-inch LCD screen and buttons– is quite attractively designed, but the controls are horribly annoying; they’re too flat with no travel or feedback.
