HTC Tattoo: TattooMyHTC Service Launched
By: Jamie Pert | October 13, 2009 | 1 CommentHTC have launched a new service for their HTC Tattoo handset, this service is being called TattooMyHTC and allows users to put custom faceplates on their handsets (similar to Nokia offered back in the day with their Nokia 5110).
The HTC Tattoo is HTC’s first Android smartphone with removable covers, you can buy pre-made covers for €11.99, however if you would like to design your own you will have to pay an additional €3, check out SlipperyBrick for more information.
If this service proves to be popular HTC may release more future handsets with inter-changeable covers, personally I think this service is priced failry and may prove to be very popular, lets face it we all customize our ringtones, wallpaper etc, why not customize the aesthetic look of the handset itself.
Would you buy a cover for your HTC Tattoo? Perhaps you already have let us know how happy you are with the service.
