Hitachi Ultrastar 15K600 & C15K147: 15,000RPM Drives Revealed

Hitachi have recently revealed two new fast hard drives aimed towards enterprise users, these are the Hitachi Ultrastar 15K600 and the Hitachi Ultrastar C15K147.
The drives both offer some impressive specifications, they both have a spindle speed of 15,000 RPM and they have a MTFB rating of 1.6 million hours (if my maths is correct this is over 185 years, if not blame my maths teacher!).
The 15K600 is available in three different capacities these are 300GB, 450GB and 600GB, the drives are available in both 6Gb/s SAS or 4Gb/s FCAL interfaces and the drive features a 64MB cache, the drive is the standard 3.5 inch size.
The C15K147 has a 2.5 inch form factor and is available in two different sizes, these are 73GB and 147GB, the drive also features a 64MB cache, the power consumption of the drive is said to be 50 percent less than the 3.5 inch drives.
