Walmart Dropping Prices of Android Handsets
By: Jamie Pert | October 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a recent article on IntoMobile it seems that Walmart is dropping the prices for some Android handsets, the handsets that have received the price drops so far are the original G1 and the myTouch3G.
The G1 can now be purchased for $48.88, and the myTouch3G will cost you $98.88, these prices are only available when you sign a 2 year contract with T-Mobile.
Numerous other websites are now reporting this news so it seems pretty legitimate, however when we hear an official statement or see the prices on Walmarts’s website we will keep you posted.
Will the new cheaper pricing convince you to buy one of the handsets?
