Following the huge T-Mobile outage which has severely affected Sidekick users, we have an article for you to read which suggests that sales for Microsoft’s new Windows Mobile 6.5 platform could suffer as a result of the outage.
The article comes from PC World, who have stated that Microsoft have been left ‘red faced’ by the whole affair, as it is their Danger servers which have been causing all the problems.
As most of you will be already aware, there won’t be any way to restore your lost data if it had been stored on the cloud, prompting outrage from thousands of Sidekick users.
PC World also state that Microsoft’s recent launch of the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform could also suffer in the way of sales, with many customers feeling they can no longer ‘trust’ Microsoft.
Let us know your thoughts on this, there is more info over at PC World.

Good riddance!!!!! I hope Microsoft burns to the ground!!! Go back to school and learn before you manage a company. I lost all my stuff. Yea I didn’t backup but as prior to the Danger acquisition by Microsoft there were NEVER data losses even in outages.
