Sony Ericsson Satio included in Vodafone triple-whammy
By: Peter Chubb | October 12, 2009 | 1 CommentThere seems no rest to the speed that carriers are offering new phones, Vodafone have just announced a triple-whammy of new cellphones. The three handsets include the Windows Mobile LG GM750, and the Android running HTC Tattoo and finally the Symbian run Sony Ericsson Satio.
According to Pocket-Lint, the Satio was due to be called the Idou, not sure why Sony Ericsson renamed it. As always, the new handset is a mix of a cell phone, walkman and camera with its Cybershot branding. The camera offers 12.1-megapixel with a built-in Xenon flash.
The Sony Ericsson Satio with its 3.5-inch screen will cost £35 per month on a two-year contract. (read a hands-on review). The LG GM750 with its 3-inch display comes with a 5-megapixel camera and as we mentioned above, runs on Windows Mobile 6.5. The phone cost £25 per month on a two-year contract.
The final phone from the Vodafone triple-whammy is the entry-level Android HTC Tattoo. This handset only has a 3.2-megapixel camera and a smaller 2.8-inch QVGA display. This is also the same price as the Satio, not sure if you will be getting the same values for money though.
