Modern Warfare 2 Gets Items For Avatars

I do not know if I am imagining this, but is Infinity Ward trying to treat Modern Warfare 2 like a gravy train even before the launch of the game. We have just learned that you will be able to add some cool looking game-related clothing to your Xbox Live Avatar.

Your little character already looks cool, bet these Modern Warfare 2 items will make your virtual friend even trendier. Rob Bowling from Infinity Ward Twittered “Not sure we’ll be doing any Avatar rewards, but we are making avatar items. With some free ones hopefully.”

Not sure what Modern Warfare 2 Avatar gear will be made available, maybe you have a few ideas. Infinity Ward are either trying to offer game fans what they want, or they are taking Modern Warfare a step too far with this latest announcement.

Some of the other recently announced products include, night vision goggles, feature film, soundtrack, comic-book series and much more.
