Mass Effect 2, Left 4 Dead 2 on PS3: Listing was ‘Error’ - EA

Following on from our story yesterday which informed you about the rumors surrounding a PS3 version of Mass Effect 2, EA has made a statement saying that listings for the game along with Left 4 Dead 2 were an ‘error’.

According to this article from Eurogamer, EA has informed them that the PS3 listings for both games on the website for EA Russia was ‘an error’.

The listings have since been removed and we are no closer to knowing if both games will appear on Sony’s console.

EG state that Mass Effect 2 could happen eventually, but Left 4 Dead is highly unlikely to make an appearance on the PS3, due to Valve’s personal preference towards the 360.
