iPhone OS 3.1.2 Jailbreak: Blackra1n

Apple was quick to offer yet another update to its iPhone software, OS 3.1.2. The updated software fixes a number of issues that users were encountering. We mentioned in a recent post that there was already a solution to unlock and jailbreak to 3.1.2, which was QuickPwn. We now have information that Blackra1n is the latest iPhone jailbreaker tool.

This new utility is for Windows only and is now ready for download. Blackra1n will jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.2 on all iPhone models as well as the iPod Touch. The application is very simple to use, all you need to do is connect your iPod or iPhone in your you PC via your USB sync cable and follow the instructions that Cnet offer you here.

We always like to advise you that if you do go ahead and jailbreak a new iPhone or iPod Touch, then you could invalidate your warranty. These sort of modifications are taken at your own risk, as your device could stop working.

If you do not wish to harm your device or void your warranty, then we advice you not to go ahead with the modification.
