HTC Hero: Available today on Sprint

Good news for Sprint customers as we can now confirm that the HTC Hero is available to buy today, either in-store or online. On friday we informed you that the phone was available early via telesales, but now is the chance to get your hands on one proper.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, Sprint’s version is essentially the same version as the European version but as you are probably aware, comes without the ‘chin’ design.

It will be powered by Android OS and will feature a 5 megapixel camera and stylish interface. If you want to get your hands on one, it will cost you $279.99, which you can get $100 back after a mail-in rebate.
