Galaxy GeForce GT 220: Review of 1GB Video Card
By: Peter Chubb | October 12, 2009
Whenever we mention a review of a GPU, we seem to concentrate on high-end cards, but what about those gamers who have a limited budget. The NVIDIA Galaxy GeForce GT 220 1GB is a low-end video card, and is perfect for those looking for good performance but for little cost.
TweakTown are known for their in-depth reviews, and they do not offer half-baked reviews just because the video card is not an expensive model. Once you remove the GPU from the box, you will notice that it is like the box that it came in, not very exciting, pretty plan really.
TweakTown have not treated this cheaper graphics card any different from any other card, which you will see in the performance tests, although they were set for a card at the lower end of the scale.
TweakTown concludes that the NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 220 is not a video card that most gamers would purchase. The card does offer better performance than your standard GPU, but do not expect too much from it. Read a full review from TweakTown
