BMW SIMPLE: Concept Vehicle Revealed
By: Jamie Pert | October 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentA new concept vehicle has recently been revealed by BMW, the vehicle is called the SIMPLE and has three wheels, the vehicle looks extremely futuristic with a sharp design, so much so that it wouldn’t have looked out of place in the next Star Wars movie.
Obviously the fact that its still a concept means that full details are not currently known, however it looks like fuel efficiency has been one major consideration, the “space-age” bodywork design has been designed for low drag.
The SIMPLE features a “small combustion engine and an electric motor”, this apparently allows the vehicle to hit a top speed of 124mph and goes from 0-60mph in under 10 seconds, it is thought that the SIMPLE will give you approximately 118 miles per gallon.
