Christmas Number 1: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:

It has been reported that bookmakers in the UK are already taking bets on which game will be crowned Christmas number 1, with Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in prime position at the moment.
As reported from Play.tm, Modern Warfare 2 will be competing with the likes of Assassin’s Creed 2, FIFA 10, Wii-Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
One title which was expected to be right up there was PS3 exclusive Gran Turismo 5, but since it has been delayed until 2010, you wouldn’t put it against Modern Warfare 2 staying top of the charts over Christmas.

i think that modern warfare will blow every single game commin out this fall assassin creed 2 looks asum but bie the looks of in my opinion modern warfare 2 could be the best game of all time seriously…..
CoD modern warfare 2 will win, simply due to the online gameplay. Assassins creed 2 won’t be far behind though. (He hopes.)
Yea. I agree with Talha. There is such a HUGE hype about MW2 that it’s going to be even more amazing in terms of sales than it’s predecessor Modern Warfare. I can’t wait to pick up my copy of the version on the 10th
i personally don’t get all the hype with yet another boring shooter but odds are it will somehow manage to be on top but i think assassins creed 2 wont be far behind
I think modern warfare 2 will be number 1 this christmas cause it has had over 1 million preorders in two countries alone.

Assasins creed 2 though i dont believe will be second
Modern Warefare 2 will undoubtedly be the #1 for Christmas game. They have a huge fan base and had enormous success with their previous titles. Assassins Creed considered by many to be a highly entertaining game, doesn’t quite spark the interest of the population quite like Modern Warefare does. As for FIFA it doesn’t have the Fan base required to out sell Modern Warfare. Also the wii hasn’t had nearly as many sales as the other gaming platforms such as the X-box 360 and PS3 which Modern Warefare is available for both, as well as the PC.
Defo MW2, i bet the day it comes out PSN and xbox live will crash with the sheer amount of win that is MW2 ( oh and the amount of online players might be the cause of the crash, lol)
