Blackberry 9700: Full recap of Bold 2

Over the past few weeks, we have learned many things about the RIM BlackBerry 9700, or better known as the Bold 2. We thought we would just offer you a recap to get you up to speed of the latest handset from RIM. The latest information on its release date, there is to be an official announcement on October 21 on AT&T and T-Mobile.

There have been a number of suggestions over the release date for the 9700, which also had the name of Onyx. The latest information that we have is on a November 11 release date, just in time for the holiday season then, not that many of us will spend that much on a Christmas present for someone.

Other news surfaced last week of a white version of the BlackBerry Bold 9700, but it looks as though that may be the old Bold model as that will be released on October 18. However, this does make us wonder if AT&T and T-Mobile will release a white version of the Bold 2 on release.

There has even been a range of leaked photos appearing on the Internet of the BlackBerry 9700 Bold 2. Early photos were not that great, but the latest bunch is much better in quality. The latest six photos are taken from various angles of the handset, giving you more of an idea of how the phone looks.
