Nintendo Wii Wiimotes now in Blue and Pink
By: Peter Chubb | October 9, 2009
We have known about a range of new Nintendo Wii systems and Wii Remotes for some time now, but we have recently learned that there are to be Blue and Pink Wiimotes, but only for Japan at this time. Not sure if these new funky colors will be launched in other countries.
The new Wii remotes will be available from December 3, but there are no details on pricing just yet. You have to hand it to Nintendo, launching a popular item in time for the holiday season. You have to ask yourself if Nintendo are slipping a bit though, just imagine how popular these would have been if launched worldwide in time for Christmas.
Engadget also learned from Joystiq that Nintendo have announced the launch of a few new Wii console / game bundles, also for Japan only. One such bundle is the Samurai Warriors 3 package, complete with a Wii console finished in glossy black.
Let us know if you would like to see a range of new Wii Remote colors; does it bother you that Japan got their hands on them first?
