Microsoft E-Book: No plans to release one - Ballmer

Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer has spoken out on the continued speculation about a Microsoft E-book reader by stating that the company currently has ‘no plans’ to release one yet.

As reported from iTProPortal, Ballmer promptly put an end to the rumors by stating that the company already has an e-book reader, the ‘PC’.

He also reminded everyone of the current partnership they have in place with Amazon which will see the retailer bring their e-books to the PC. Ballmer said he hopes to add to this with other companies in the future.

So there we have it folks. Bad news if you were really looking forward to one, as it doesn’t look like its going to happen anytime soon.
