Twitter in talks with Microsoft and Google
By: Jamie Pert | October 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a recent article on AllThingsDigital it seems that Twitter is currently in advanced talks with both Microsoft and Google separately, from what the article says it seems that the talks are regarding data-mining.
This data-mining deal could result in a full feeds powered by Twitter being integrated into companies search engine results, exactly how this will impact these search engines is hard to say but the AllThingsDigital’s article suggest that this addition could make search results more robust.
Sources have also confirmed that it is a possibility that no deal will be reached, and executives at all three companies have made no comments on the possible deal.
