Sony VAIO CW: Specifications and Pricing

Earlier this week Sony announced a new series of VAIO notebooks, the new series is called the VAIO CW Series, all of this series of notebooks feature a 14 inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, they also come in a range of vibrant colors.

Exact specifications are hard to say as there are so many options, there is an option for a Blu-ray burner, a range of processors you can choose up to an Intel Centrino 2 2.80GHz, there are hard drive options up to 500GB (but no SSD’s), you can also choose up to 8GB of RAM.

All models feature both VGA and HDMI outputs, however there are two graphics options, one is a NVIDIA GeForce GT230M 512MB and the other is for the NVIDIA GeForce GT210M 256MB.

Other things worth mentioning include three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard 34 slot, FireWire, memory card slots and a range of colors to choose from which include red, pink, blue, white and black.
