Contrary to our recent posts it seems that sales of Sony’s PSPgo are going better than expected in the US, this follows recent posts in which a UK Chips boss who expected the PSPgo to “fail miserably” and also how the price has been cut in the UK already.
Although these recent posts were regarding the UK market many also believed that the hand-held console will struggle in the US, however according to a recent article on SlashGear it seems that Sony in America are reporting sales for PSPs growing by 300%.
Not only have console sales grown since the launch of the PSPgo but apparently Sony have also seen a 200% growth in sales in the PlayStation Store.
For more details regarding the recent growth in sales check out SlashGear’s article here.

I was dubious about the PSP GO but held one for the first time today and have to say that it’s a classy bit of kit. Am now very tempted to get one for Christmas!
