RIM Blackberry Storm 2 or Bold 2?
By: Peter Chubb | October 8, 2009 | 2 CommentsResearch in Motion (RIM) is launching two new handset very soon the BlackBerry Storm and the Bold 2. Both are aimed at different markets and are very much improved over their predecessors. The original BlackBerry Storm was hailed as the Smartphone to take the fight to the Apple iPhone, but RIM have learned to not make such bold statements.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 as we know is the second-generation Storm handset and comes with BBM 5.0 and an improved touch-sensitive screen, much better than the original Storm. The handset now comes with built-in Wi-Fi, something that hurt the first model. The cell also gets a 3.2-megapixel camera, which is a shame as it needs to be over 5-megalixel to gain any respect from consumers.
Some of the features of the BlackBerry Bold 2 are much the same as the Storm 2, 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G support and Wi-Fi. The difference end there, as the Bold 2 is not a touchscreen and is aimed at a different user, as the handset is more for business use.
So you know the two phones and have done all your homework on them, now the choice is down to you, but you do not have long to choose.
