BlackBerry Storm 2: Verizon and Vodafone Confirm BBM 5.0

One of the hottest phones to launch this year from RIM has to be the BlackBerry Storm 2 9550, but we still do not have a definite release date. However, there seems to be so much media coverage in recent weeks that we must be getting close. We know that Verizon and Vodafone will be getting the handset, just as they did with the first Storm; we also know that the new handsets will come with BBM 5.0.

You may wonder how we know that the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be released very soon, well Berryscoop reports that two promo video have since appeared online. The two videos are from either side of the pond, Verizon and Vodafone. Verizon’s video is reported to be for training purposes.

Watching the video, we know that the BlackBerry Storm 2 will come pre-installed with blackberry messenger 5.0, 2GB of internal storage and up to 16GB of external storage with a microSD card. These are just some of the features.
