BlackBerry Curve 8520: Available from Rogers

You may have read our post approximately two weeks ago regarding the BlackBerry Curve 8520 Rogers launch, at the time we suspected that the handset will be available sometime in October, however we have now heard that the handset is now available.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 boasts some pretty impressive specifications which include a 512MHz processor and 256MB of RAM, however slightly disappointingly the handset only features a 2 megapixel camera and a screen resolution of 320×480.

Other features worth mentioning include the fact that the handset has a full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi and a 3.5mm headset jack, the Rogers version of the handset is currently available in black, however it is thought that they will soon offer a violet version.

The handset itself is said to set you back $99.99 as part of a 3 year deal, this pricing requires a monthly rate of at least $45, find out more on IntoMobile.
