Xbox 360 Owners: Do you want Twitter and Facebook support?

As most of you will be aware by now, Facebook and Twitter support is on the way very soon for all Xbox 360 owners. We have a preview for you to read now, which states that you may not be as excited with the new updates as previously thought.

As reported from The Guardian, Facebook on Xbox 360 will allow you to scroll through your friends lists, which will highlight friends with a gamertag next to them. You’ll then be able to invite him to your Xbox 360 friends list with a simple click of a button, which will be a pretty popular feature we’re sure.

However, you won’t be able to have a full Facebook experience on your 360, as The Guardian states that only status lists will be viewable, which you can then comment on or ‘like’ a status.

To sum this up, it looks as if Facebook and Twitter on your 360 will be best suited for those only wanting to take a ‘quick browse’ at your profiles, otherwise you are better off using a mobile phone or computer.

Are you really that bothered about the Facebook and Twitter updates?

No. I’d much prefer a browser, a decent movie rental service and Spotify.

I wonder when play.fm is coming. I thought it was to release with these.
