T-Mobile Sidekick Outage Update: Full Month Data Credit
By: Peter Chubb | October 7, 2009 | 18 CommentsT-Mobile must understand the frustration that Sidekick users are feeling following an outage problem, which is why they will credit a full month of data usage for Sidekick users. This will be an automatic process, so no need for users to contact T-Mobile.
Phone News reports that this latest update from T-Mobile had been posted on its T-Mobile support forum. Jim Alling, Chief Operations Officer at T-Mobile USA published the memo announcing the credit as well as offering an apology for the outage problem, which you can read in full at Phone News.
T-Mobile knew that something was wrong when they started to receive a huge amount of complaints in a short amount of time, which we discussed in a recent post. Customers were able to make call and send texts, but were unable to use the data services.
Are you happy with the one-month free data service?
