Project Natal on Xbox 360: Microsoft talk prices

Xbox boss Robbie Bach has spoken out on Microsoft’s upcoming motion tech, Project Natal, giving us a few hints on the sort of prices we can expect to see when it is expected to release later this year.

As reported from VG247, Bach has said that Xbox 360 owners should expect Natal to ‘go through the usual price curve’, adding that they (Microsoft) will ’see how pricing costs works out’.

Does this mean that we will see a premium price point at the start, followed by price cuts along the way? Sounds like it to us.

He also revealed that Microsoft will let everyone know if the Project Natal tag will be changed to something else before public release.

No s**t Sherlock, who ever would have guessed that a piece of electrical equipment would be more expensive when it\’s new, then get cheaper later on in the cycle?
