We have just learned that Microsoft’s new Wireless N Adapter for the Xbox 360 has been dated, as well as priced. The bad news is that you should expect to pay $99 for it, the same as the current wireless adapter.
As reported from VG247, the new device will be available to buy in shops on November 3rd. It’s thought to include 2 antennas on either side this time, presumably to boost connection speeds.
$99 though? We expected this to be significantly cheaper for Xbox 360 owners, I mean where is the incentive to pick one of these up now?
Lets hope that some retailers use a bit of common sense and knock the price down a bit upon release. Let us know your thoughts on the $100 price tag.

would really like one but for $100? Not sure…
Why bother with wi-fi at all?
A network cable and a decent fast home network (using the one of the modern plug-point set-ups) is far more secure, gives far superior speeds and is generally more flexible.
I agree about using Ethernet as opposed to Wi-Fi however; what about people who still live at home and do not have holes in the wall or a jack for a cable? What about those like myself who might buy another HDTV and Xbox 360 for space to stream NetFlix into the bedroom…
Just a thought…
