VMware Fusion 3: Announced and Details Revealed

VMware have recently announced their next release of their popular virtualization software for Mac, the next release will be called VMware Fusion 3 and will allow you to run Windows, Linux and other operating systems on your Macs (Intel based models only).
There are said to be over 50 new features and greatly improved graphics support, one of the new features provides native support for 64-bit versions of Leopard and Snow Leopard, the improvements to graphics support allow support for OpenGL 2.1 and DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3, this should allow users to use “Aero” with Windows Vista and 7 virtual machines.
The software is currently available for pre-order direct from VMware’s website, and is expected to also be available from Apple’s online store and Amazon as of Tuesday, the software will be officially released October 27th.
