If you are looking to get five times more 3G coverage from your Apple iPhone, then you will want to have a Verizon iPhone. The network carrier has launched a new ad campaign in the hope that Apple CEO Steve Jobs is watching. AT&T will certainly not be happy with the new ad, and neither will iPhone users.
We all know the Apple iPhone slogan, “There’s an app for that” well Verizon have come up with its own slogan, “Want Five Times More 3G Coverage? There’s a Map for That.” According to Digital Daily, the ad centers on a number of complaints about the quality of the 3G coverage of the iPhone on AT&T. Verizon, the preferred network states that they have five times more coverage than AT&T. Verizon then goes on to say in the advert, “Before you pick a phone, pick a network.”
iPhone customers have said that they would rather lose money and hand their iPhones in to AT&T if they had the choice to move over to Verizon. It is no secret that the AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity deal looks set to end sometime in 2010, and if Apple did sign on with Verizon, then Apple would increase iPhone sales by 12.2 percent.

I would be one of those customers if there was an alternative to AT&T’s ridiculous plans. If Verizon does the same thing, charging for every little thing such as SMS/MMS as add ons and offer Limited “Unlimited” plans, then much wont change.
Come on Verizon!! We all want the iphone!! I would go buy it tomorrow!
Verizon SUCKS!! so who cares?
ATT is not any better than Verizon. At least Verizon has coverage.
Only 12%? That sounds pretty conservative to me.
I’ll stick with Verizon. No offense to iPhone users. Hey, I think iPhone is great product. But I’ve had to loan my cell out several times since the beginning of summer, alone, because I HAD the coverage and AT&T did NOT. I’m sure iPhome is great, but it’s USELESS with NO Coverage. Might as well have two tin cans and a string.
I’m about to move to an area with spotty AT&T coverage. I’m planning on ditching my beloved iPhone and waiting for an HTC HD2. If I could use Verizon, I’d stay with the iPhone.
