Verizon conference call with Google: Android Discussions
By: Peter Chubb | October 6, 2009
Following on from our article the other day about the latest rumors on a Verizon Android Motorola Phone, we have learned that Verizon has scheduled a conference call with Google. The call will take place at 7AM Pacific Time / 10AM Eastern Time today.
The conference call with Google is not a guarantee that it is related to an Android handset, but we have to wonder what else the companies would be talking about. Engadget have reported a twist to the story though, Motorola will not be included in the conference call.
This does seem strange as Motorola’s Sholes / Tao is the rumored Android handset for Verizon to use. The two who will be attended the call will be Eric Schmidt and Lowell McAdam, the conference call has to be important with these two big hitters involved.
