Powermat Wireless Chargers at Best Buy and Target

In an age where technology moves at an alarming rate, we have often wondered why we still need to plug our devices in to a power outlet to charge them. Palm was one of the first companies to launch a product that allows the Pre to charge without the need to use a powercord connected to your handset.

For those of you have been envious of Palm Pre’s wireless charger, “Touchstone” then you will be pleased to learn that the Powermat Wireless Charger is now available and can be purchased at Best Buy and Target stores.

Engadget tell us that the Powermat Wireless Charger will cost $99.99 and the cost for each receiver is $40. There is a range of different receivers; these include one for the Apple iPhone, RIM BlackBerry and also for a Nintendo DS. For full details, visit Powermat.com
