Palm Pixi: Change to Internal Storage Capacity

Back in mid September we linked you to some handset specifications for the Palm Pixi, at this time we were under the impression that the Palm Pixi would have 8GB of storage, however it now seems that the handset may only have 4GB of internal storage.

Perhaps more shockingly according to a recent post on SlashGear it seems that the handset may not have a microSD slot either, however there is no definite evidence confirming this rumor.

The reason it is now thought that the Palm Pixi will only have 4GB’s of storage is due to a recent photo which shows a screen-shot of the Palm Pixi, in this photo the handset shows it has 4GB of memory.

It is a possibility that the handset is just an early prototype, so we will keep you updated as we hear more, personally I find the lack of a microSD card slot hard to believe, check out SlashGear for more information.
