Another of HTC’s new Windows Mobile handsets is the HTC Pure, it is thought that inside the casing the handset is extremely similar to the HTC Diamond2, the Diamond2 is regarded by many as the best Windows Mobile 6.1 handset on the market, so there is high hope for the HTC Pure.
The HTC Pure has a 3.2 inch resistive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480, as with most HTC handsets the Pure features a 3.5mm headphone jack socket along with an ExtUSB port.
As with the recently looked at HTC Touch2 the Pure features wide range of connectivity options, these include Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, GPS and HSDPA 7.2, for additional storage there is also a microSD card slot.
One of the most impressive things about the Pure is its extremely vibrant and crisp display, this is said to be equally as impressive as what HTC delivered with the Diamond2, the handset uses their TouchFLO 3D user interface which somewhat hides the Windows Mobile 6.5 backbone.
One of the major issues with handset however is the performance, especially when compared to handsets like the iPhone 3GS, for more details on where the handset excelled and where it fell short check out SlashGear’s article here, you can also see a short demo video of the handset below.
