HTC Imagio Review Roundup

Earlier today we saw the release of the HTC Imagio handset, since then we have seen a lot of different reviews looking into many aspects of the handset, we thought this would be a good time to let you see all of the reviews we have looked at.

There are three reviews we have looked at, they are by SlashGear, Gizmodo and InfoSync, in this post we will sum up what the three reviews agree on in terms of Pro’s and Cons.

To be honest there are a few things the reviews agree on and a few things that they don’t, all of the reviews seem to agree that the build quality and design is good, and they also all agree that the 5 megapixel camera takes good photos and videos (however not as good as some competing Sony and Samsung handsets).

All of the reviews agree that the handsets performance is adequate most of the time, however they also all agree that upgrading its 528MHz processor and 256MB of RAM would have made the overall handset performance much better, especially during web browsing.

All of the reviews are also slightly critical of the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, however seem happy with HTC’S TouchFLO 3D interface which somewhat hides the fact it is a Windows Mobile based handset, one feature that all reviews seem to be pretty happy with is Microsoft’s “MyPhone” wireless backup system.
