HTC Imagio with Windows Mobile 6.5: Hands-on Review

Buzz This

Today we have seen hands-on reviews for the HTC Touch2 and the HTC Pure Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets, there is also a hands-on review for the HTC Imagio, you may have seen our post on Friday which gave us our first look at the handset, if not follow this link.

The Imagio features a 3.6 inch resistive touchscreen display, the handset also features an ExtUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack socket, along with this there is a microSD memory card slot.

Due to the fact the Imagio is being marketed as a global phone the handset connects to a huge range of CDMA and GSM networks, there is also standard Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

The handset also uses the TouchFLO 3D user interface to cover up the underlying Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, the handset is a little sluggish and perhaps the handset needs something more speedier than its 528Mhz Qualcomm processor if it wants to compete with the performance showcased by the iPhone 3GS.

For a fully detailed look into how the handset done in its hands-on review check out SlashGear’s article, you can also see lots of photos of the handset, and a couple of videos, I have embedded the HTC Imagio unboxing and walkthrough video below.
