BMW C1 Concept: Brought Back
By: Jamie Pert | October 6, 2009
According to a recent article on AutoBlog it seems that BMW have decided to resurrect their electronically powered concept vehicle, the C1 is basically a scooter with a roof, in 2000 BMW sold petrol versions of the C1.
From what we can see the new C1 E will be powered by a 27 horsepower brush-less electric motor, this motor will get its power from a 125 volt lithium-ion battery, this battery is said to generate 3.67 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
According to BMW this motor and battery combination will allow the C1 E to hit a maximum speed of 62 mph, and apparently it will go from 0-50 miles per hour in under 7 seconds, if these claims are correct they are pretty impressive, check out AutoBlog for more article.
