Adobe Flash Player 10.1 was unveiled recently and will be available for all Smartphones; all expect the Apple iPhone, which we discussed in an article yesterday. iPhone users are still unhappy with the fact that Flash is not available on their handsets. We have since learned that Flash developers will soon be able to port their app to the iPhone.
At yesterday’s annual developer conference, Adobe have said that its Flash Professional CS5 will make it possible for developers to port apps to both the iPhone and iPod Touch. The news of rich, interactive applications coming to the iPhone is a step in the right direction for users.
Information Week points out that although the application would be created as Flash apps, it is possible that they do not have to run as Flash applications. Flash Professional CS5 will be released as a public beta before the end of the year. For all the details on this exiting news, visit Information Week
