The Japanese are known for apologizing and bowing to people, but Toyota’s president, Akio Toyoda went a little over the top with it. We all know the troubles that Toyota are facing following the recent recall, but Toyoda was certainly acting strangely according to Chron.com.
Akio Toyoda, who has only been in the job for three months, was reciting a number of apologies to reporters at the Japan National Press club. The apologies were for a number of things, such as the recall of more than 3.8 million vehicles due to a floormat problem, which we explained in detail in a recent post.
That is not the only troubles that the largest automaker is facing, Toyota is facing its second consecutive annual loss, as well as the fact that they had to close its first American factory in California. For the full details of the Toyota situation, visit Chron.com
